Dear Yogis,
We have a great newsletter this week as we all look at getting back into a routine and how beneficial it can be for our mental and physical health.  
We have class recommendations for whatever mood you are in and there are now four different ways for you to join us in class.

We have new classes to announce and a new Teacher Training course coming this November. After a sell out Sound Bath this month, we have another one coming up in September.

THE TRUE BENEFITS OF ROUTINE
 
2020 has been a tough year for many and we hope our classes have offered you some grounding and comfort in this turbulent time.
 
As a new season dawns upon us and a sense of slight normality is returning, it’s definitely a time to look to a brighter future. With schools reopening, and people slowly returning to places of work, we are all finding our routines again.
 
Having a routine is incredibly beneficial to the mind and body. Implementing a structure to your day can give you a sense of control. It improves your focus, organisation and productivity. A routine can be part of your self care technique to reduce stress levels and lead to improved mental health. It can give you more time to relax and less anxiety.

A lack of healthy stress management techniques create havoc to your nervous system. It can cause excess stress hormones to flood the body and can lead to your brain being unable to switch on your parasympathetic nervous system which controls the rest, digest and repair systems of the body.

Yoga is an excellent stress management technique and we have an amazing timetable that is building week by week so you can structure a variety of classes into your weekly routine.

We love having our guests join us every weekend for our Instagram YH Live Sessions. Don’t worry if you have missed out.

Most recently we had wellbeing guru Zannie join us to talk about Harnessing Your Hormones. For our female yogis this is a must listen session. Zannie discussed how you can change from seeing your cycle as a monthly problem into your greatest gift.

Another great session to catch up on is Kasia being put through her paces in HIIT For Yoga with Henry. We recommend you join in the class and not just laugh at Kasia getting her sweat on.

WHAT’S COMING UP 
On September 6th with have Lisa Hood joining us to talk all things Crystals. What are their unique qualities, how to charge them, cleanse them, crystal grids and how to programme your crystal to work for you..
You are welcome to submit any questions in advance or during the live chat and have your crystal with you when watching the session!

This pass can be used across both studios and is valid for a month from purchase. 
It’s available for new & existing yogis (even if you have taken the intro offer previously, have a frozen membership or class passes that you don’t want to reactivate yet). It’s a great way to find your yoga feet and get back into a routine. 

Frozen Memberships & Packages

Thank you to all who have unfrozen their lockdown accounts, we are so happy so many of you are coming back to the studios, we hope you can see it’s a safe and welcoming environment. With extra cleaning and sanitisation, we have also reduced class sizes so there are less people in the room and more space around the mats. Our timetable is also building back up with some new teachers and classes being added over the coming weeks including more pilates and hot classes – and more yoga across both studios…. happy times are here again!

For the final few members who are still frozen, we will be in touch by Mid September to reactivate. As an additional note, see below for our annual membership info, we’ve had a great response to our annual membership packages with only 6 remaining, many returning members or class pass yogis have taken up this offer to cover a year of yoga and pilates across 2 studios.

SAFETY FIRST 

We are happy to be getting so much positive feedback from you on our safety guidelines and procedures. It’s great to hear how safe and comfortable you feel in the Studios.  
We are continuing to maintain our high cleaning standards, reduced class sizes, track and trace procedures and quarantining of used mats and props.

LOCAL NEWS
We are so pleased Catford Mews is open – coffee, great food (with some new additions) and cinema – you can read more about it HERE.

Not forgetting Joy’s Health Sanctuary across the way from us in Catford who has been serving up some great, wholesome, vegan food and smoothies x

And for Leegate we’ve also loved the great organic food, pastries and bread from SWOP shop and the treats and coffees from Rhubarb and Custard.

It’s so wonderful seeing the shops around us reopen as we all look to gain momentum and a sense of routine into our lives. We hope we can all support each other in creating a wonderful community.

Annual memberships – we only have a few annual memberships left after we released a batch 2 weeks ago. These can be found on our pricing page https://yogahouselondon.co.uk/prices/. Members who are currently frozen can also switch to this plan and many of you have done so already. The annual membership gives you the best price, as a one off payment of £780 (which works out at £65pm), 15% off all workshops and sound baths + a month pause to cover holiday etc. (one consecutive month pause). These memberships are a great way to get back into yoga and pilates with access to the whole timetable across both studios. Start date can be added at checkout if you wanted to start at a later time.
