Dear Yogis, 

We may be still just be in January but this year has already been packed with new adventures and new challenges. Here at Yoga House we have been keeping busy and we are super excited to update you with all the new things we have in store for you.

Coming up we have:
Six New Workshops
A New Beginners Yoga Course 
Two New YH Live Sessions
New Teacher to announce

Our workshops are designed for you to find some precious time. We have workshops to help you develop your practice, to help you find rest, to boost your mood and to play. You will receive a recording if you can’t attend live to do in your own time. 

We have two amazing guests joining us on our Instagram Live Sessions, each an expert in their own field. These sessions are free and you can catch up on our growing back catalog any time you like. Click Here

We are also starting a six-week beginners yoga course for any yogis out there who are just beginning or would like to learn the fundamentals of yoga. This course is great for all levels as you will have time to understand the basics of the posture that you may have missed in a faster paced class. 

And finally, we introduce the newest member of the YH family – Annie Edwards. Annie has been teaching with us for two weeks now and her Mindful Flow classes are blissful magic (Every Wednesday 18.30 online)

We are so happy to have Catford local Annie Edwards join the Yoga House teaching family. Annie has been teaching yoga in London since 2007. She is inspired by the joy, fearlessness and enchantment of movement – but only truly came to know the power of yoga during injury and deep heart healing.
During Annie’s 18.30 Wednesday classes expect explorative movement accompanied by her favourite poems, sutras and playlist. Annie’s favourite poem is Wild Geese by Mary Oliver.

Join Annie’s Mindful Flow
Wednesdays at 18.30 
Many students come to yoga by stepping on to a mat in an advance vinyasa class. There is nothing wrong with this, but you may have missed some of the basics. Starting slow and understanding each aspect of a posture can really add to your practice. 

We are launching a New Six Week Beginners Course for all our students – new and well practiced.  You can sign up for the whole course, or choose which section you’d like to cover. All sessions are recorded so if you miss a week, you can catch up.

£42 for 6 Weeks or 
£9 per class
Week 1 | Sun Salutations 
Week 2 | Breathing & Seated Postures 
Week 3 | Warriors
Week 4 | Balancing Postures

Final Note
Thank you to everyone for your support. Our studios are being well used by our teachers across the week to teach their classes and our plants are being well watered and misted and they look great, ready for your return. Our Catford studio reception had a complete transformation for 2 days last week, turning into a barber shop as a small part in a new tv ad with Walkers Crisp (although I don’t think you’ll recognise it as Yoga House Catford reception!).

Together we can truly make things better, we know it can be difficult to keep to a routine in these uncertain times but taking a class regularly or when you can has so many benefits to your mental wellbeing.
