A New Dawn at Yoga House

It’s just over two weeks until we can open our studio doors again to you. 

We can’t thank our community enough for the support you have given us over the past year. We hope we have been able to support you too. Reading your feedback from our recent survey warmed our hearts and will help us better serve you. We have a round up below of your thoughts.

As the UK finds it’s feet again, India is battling a devastating Covid wave. As yoga students we all owe so much to this beautiful land and it is time for us to help. 
Yoga House will be donating all revenue from all classes next week (starting this Sunday 02nd May 5pm class) to this cause so it would be amazing if you could get on your mat and show your support. We have a link below for donations also where we are also raising £1000 for charities in India. 

The impact of the last year has affected everyone in so many ways.
Mental Health Awareness Week starts May 10th and we have put together a full week of content to help you find some stability in a very unstable time.

Lee & Catford Studios will be opening on May 17th
We have new classes, new teachers, new stock, new staff! It’s going to be amazing.
 
We will be launching our new schedule on Tuesday 4th May so make sure to head to our Website or Mindbody to book early.
We will also be reinstalling any frozen memberships on May 17th, so if you want to book a class in advance, please email support@yogahouselondon.co.uk
 
To give you a tease of what’s to come, here are some of our new teachers: We will continue to offer a mix of teachers and styles across both studios to best help with your practice.

Miriam Brightbart

Join Miriam for a Warm Yin Yang Class Wednesdays at Catford. The class will be powerful and challenging, but will invite plenty of opportunities for deep release and relaxation.

Join Lydia on Wednesday evenings in Catford for Pilates. Her classes focus on postural improvement, core strength, mobility and overall wellbeing.

Join Katie Sunday mornings at Lee for a Slow Paced Flow. Wake your body in the kindest way and start you week as you mean to go on.

COMMUNITY CLASSES 

Our Community Classes are Back! Starting this Friday (May 7th) at 12pm on Online.

Each class will be raising funds for a different Charity. In May will be supporting the Covid Crisis in India. We have a host of amazing new teachers lined up for you, starting with Akhil Gopi. Akhil is from Kerela in Southern India and his class will offer a variety of traditional Yoga postures with interesting variations.

Classes are donation based with a recommended donation of £5.

We will be raising money to support charities working with Covid crisis in India.
Starting with Kasia’s class this Sunday 5pm, then going over all next week, all bookings (including members, drop in and class passes) will be donated to help the critical situation happening right now in this beautiful country.

Thank you all so much for your feedback in our recent survey. It was so wonderful to hear what you thought of the Studios and the love you shared for them. You thoughts on what we can do to improve and adjust were invaluable and have been taken on board and some changes are already in place! 

Over 100 of you completed the survey and here is some of the feedback.

May 10th marks the start of Mental Awareness Health Week. There is never been a time when the mental health of the everyone has been under so much pressure. Even as things start to feel a little more normally, we are still having to adjust to another shift in our lives.

We have a week packed with Workshops, YH Lives, Newsletter & a Mental Health Forum.

Join our Front of House Team or become a Karma Yogi

Front Of House Team Member
We are looking for the someone to join our Front Of House Team. The role is Part Time & Flexible. You will need to be available for studio hours weekdays and/or weekends. You will welcome our students and help create a blissful practice setting. 

Karma Yogi
Our Karma Yogi team are such an important part of our community. You will help the FOH team prepare for classes and in exchange you will receive a free yoga class.
