It’s officially Summer and as we head towards the Solstice in just a few weeks, we have so much to look forward to.

We recently asked you to tell us your thoughts of the classes, studios and community in a survey. We were thrilled with the response and have been busy implementing changes you requested. 

We have added lots of new classes to the schedule, as well as new teachers for more variety. But what class is right for you? Take a look at our styles below and maybe treat yourself to a new class this week.

We also have a new Breath Work Class that will be on Sunday’s 4pm at Catford. Our breath is the key to our life and yet we are so disconnected from it. This class will look at the power of the breath and how it can transform your mood, release tension and change your life. 

If you are still craving some deep self care, we have two magical workshops coming up. We welcome back Kate to celebrate the Solstice with us and Cacao Master Carlos joins us for a beautiful Ceremony. 
 
WHICH CLASS IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Yoga has evolved so much over time, with new classes and styles to help suit everyone. There is not one yoga. There is just your yoga.
After pretty much a year of being away from the studio and many changes in life and routine, it may be time to try a new style of Yoga, or Pilates, or a sound workshop. Our practice should change to meet our needs and we need to listen to our bodies and act accordingly. 
Sometimes we need to shift energy and other times we need to hold it. Sometimes we need precision and other times we need to flow freely. 
Follow our guide below and find the right class for you.

Dynamic 

When our mind and body is in flow, our life is in flow. Dynamic classes move through postures creating prana (life force). Prana flows through the body releasing stagnate energy and held emotions.

Strong Flow

Yoga is for the mind and body. We need to be strong in both. Our Strong Flow classes include Ashtanga which uses and series of postures in breath lead movement. Our Power classes focused on strengthening core and allowing the mind to unwind. Our Hot Yoga classes allow for a deeper opening in the body. Rocket is a fun and energising class to leave you feeling stronger, lighter and more flexible.

Mid Flow

Our Mid Flow classes offer connection. Slower paced so there is more time to move with the breath and take your practice deeper. Our Pilates classes offer stability in the body which brings balance and grace.

Slow Flow

Life can be so fast we sometimes need to take action to slow it down. Joining a Slow Flow class maybe your one opportunity a week to stop. Our Mindful Flow class weaves beautiful poetry with peaceful postures. Flow to Meditation allows you to open up while being securely held. Our Hatha classes bring the balance we all crave. 
 

Restorative

We all need more rest, more sleep, more nurture. Our Restorative classes offer you a chance to switch off. Let your nervous system sing with one of these classes:

NEW CLASS | BREATH WORK

Join Pippa Raine Sunday afternoons at Catford 4PM
for a beautiful and healing Breath Work Class.

Each week you’ll be guided on an inner journey, as we use the conscious connected breath (through the mouth.)

It’s a circular breath to dive into your bodily sensations and the spiritual realms, connecting to intuition and authentic presence.

The initial part of the journey, I’ll guide you to charge your breath gently, to shift any emotions/energy stuck in the system and as you release any holding you’ll feel a deeper sense of bliss.
The latter part, we will integrate anything that showed up on the charge, and then ground your energy back into the body with more of a meditative flow.
Each week is themed slightly different, and as you immerse yourself in each journey the music, words and intentions, will touch, break open and elevate your soul.
Be ready to dive as deep as you want to, you’re always in the driving seat, and I’ll be with you to facilitate and support.
We will start with a short meditation to get in-touch with your felt sense, and to connect to your inner world.
Also we will play with somatic movement/dance to express emotions from the inside out. You’ll feel lighter, brighter and re-born.

WORKSHOPS

CACAO CEREMONY WITH CARLOS MUNDALAH

This Ceremony will offer the opportunity to cleanse and heal. To connect us back to our true nature and own personal potential. During the 2.5 hour ceremony there will be guided breath work and meditation and it will be accompanied with live music by Carlos to help you tune inwards and turn to your inner guidance.

As well as Carlos being a musician, producer and sound healer, he is also a  Nada Yoga Teacher, Biomedical Engineer and Aztec Dancer. He has 5 years guiding over 110 cacao ceremonies in Mexico, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal and UK. We are thrilled to welcome him to Yoga House for this beautiful ceremony.

SUMMER SOLSTICE SOUND BATH

Join us for this special Solstice Alchemic Sound Healing on this most powerful day of the year. The healing is hosted by the beautiful Kate Fleur.

The power of sound healing is an effective and proven modality that uses vibrational frequencies to enable us to drop into a meditative state and allow the possibility of clearing, cleansing and balancing on a deep cellular level. Everything in creation has a frequency. Each thought and feeling, every part of our bodies, every atom reaching out to the furthest galaxies and when these vibrations are in harmony we can experience peace and natural transcendence.
