We have lots going on at the studio and we can’t wait to tell you all about it.

From Goodbyes to Hellos – Minicia is back!
Yoga House favourite Minicia Beeson is back with Vinyasa | Monday | 7pm | Lee
If you’ve not practiced with Minica before, you are in for a treat!

If you’ve been missing Alice’s Monday Online Yin & Nidra Class – Fear Not! She is back with a 75min Class the first Monday of every month. If you can’t join live, we can send you the recording to practice when you can.

Have you heard? Sunrise Classes are back in studio!
On Tuesday & Wednesday Mornings at 7.30am – 8.15am you can join Jocelyn or Miriam for a Sunrise Flow class in Catford. Alice’s Friday class is still on Friday’s online and recordings are also available.

1. Improved posture – “A man is as young as his spinal column” Joseph Pilates 
 The demands of everyday life – sitting at a desk for hours, looking at our phones, stressing about deadlines and work can take a considerable toll on our posture. Often bad posture can lead to back pain and imbalances in the body. By focusing on core strength, body alignment and opposing muscle balance, Pilates is proven to be one of the best ways to improve your posture. 
 
2. Injury Prevention – “Change happens through movement, and movement heals” Joseph Pilates  
Developing strength and balance of muscles in the body can help prevent injuries due to an increased level of support and stabilisation at our joints. When our core is strong, the frame of our body becomes more supported. 
 
3. Stress relief – “Everyone is the architect of their own happiness” Joseph Pilates 
 Breathing and concentration are two key principles of Pilates. By internally focusing and controlling our breath, the body and mind can find relaxation and balance, helping to reduce stress.

MORROCO YOGA RETREAT

Join Alice as you explore different ways in which to approach a posture depending on what you wish to achieve. There will also be anatomical discussion and ideas shared on how to build more resilience in order to avoid pain and injury, thus creating a yoga practice that is more sustainable and has greater longevity.

ALCHEMIC SOUND BATH WITH KATE FLEUR


Kate Fleur creates a journey using quartz crystal bowls and her voice which thread together and unify in their own soul song. As you open up to deep rest and peace there can be an experience of emotional release, visuals and messages that can be received. It is a passive place for you to just get comfortable and allow the frequencies to move through you.
