YOGA HOUSE WEEKLY
What do you know about Ashtanga Yoga? Is it a class you always see on the schedule but are a little afraid to try? It is the most beautiful practice and one with an amazing history. Today we look a little deeper into this and we also have a wonderful workshop coming up with our resident Ashtanga teacher Imir. In our Transitions, Chaturanga, History & Philosophy Workshop, Imir will deepen your knowledge & practice of yoga.
Our Community Class is back this week, this class is aimed to help all enjoy yoga and also experience new styles, new teachers and at a lower price.
And to celebrate this weekend’s Aries Full Moon, Gong Master Junior is back in Catford for a wonderfully nourishing Gong Bath. Always popular and not to be missed.

The Ashtanga sequences build intelligently, with each posture preparing the body for the next, to create a careful, systematic approach to healing and freeing the entire being; mind, body & Spirit.
The disciplined approach of Ashtanga Yoga strengthens and tones the skeletal and muscular aspects of our physical body, training away dysfunctional movement patterns, to create a well-aligned, fully-functioning and healthy physique.
Internally, energetic pathways are cleared, organs and bodily systems (respiratory, digestive, nervous, endocrine, circulatory) are toned and purified, and the mind learns to focus; transcending internal turbulence or distraction, to bring about a state of contented peace.

The practice provides the supportive structure and space for us to explore and address our fears and weaknesses, as well as find and hone our confidence and strengths.
Adaptable for all, going into class with a brave, open mind and the commitment to truly evolve is all it takes 🙂
Through regularity of practice the eight limbs are nourished, our practice blooms and our understanding of the depths of yoga matures
