YH | ⚡⚡ STARTING THIS WEEKEND ⚡⚡The Teacher Series ⚡⚡

We have curated a series of workshops for yoga teachers & any student who wants to enhance or learn new skills. We have pulled on our wonderful teacher base to share their specialist areas. All workshops will have practical skills and applied tools to take directly to your own classes.

Our first in the series starts this weekend!
Natalie will help in how to apply hands on assist or adjustments in a safe way following the bio mechanics of the body and breath. This time is designed to give you the tools and confidence to offer students hands-on assisting in a purposeful way.

A 3 hours in person workshop is suitable for any yoga background teachers and practitioners who are passionate in learning to guide their students to change habitual patterns, unwinding tension in poses as well as using breathing to feel body sensations.

You will experiment how to adjust your students to delve deeper in yoga practice, tune your skills of hands on assisting on therapeutic level, sharpening your awareness of seeing and feeling your own habitual patterns that don’t serve you while teaching.

We will warm up with Forrest Inspired Vinyasa 60 min practice, followed by reminding yourself what Hands on assisting means for you and enjoy giving/receiving hands on assist.

We will explore the following:

  • why and when to offer hands on assisting
  • difference between assisting vs adjustment
  • foundations of assist or adjust
  • using the breath
  • sensitivity of touch
  • building relationships/consent
  • working with different body types
  • self-preservation
