Welcome to YOGA HOUSE
newsletter#6 February 2018

Yoga House is nearly ready!!! The doors open on 10th Feb, with the first week running at a light schedule, allowing us to test things out. Our open weekend is going to happen on Sat 17th - Sun 18th Feb, I will be sending a separate invite with the exact timetable, but think free yoga, good vibes and some healthy snacks. :-)

My old
website will soon be merged into the new one, so please save this address ~ yogahouselondon.co.uk
You can also find the studio on Instagram @yogahouse_london or follow us on Facebook for regular updates. Link to all in the footer of this newsletter.

There will be a new booking system via Mindbody. You will be able to reserve classes through the website, free Mind Body app or Facebook, so hopefully a much easier way to manage your bookings.

I'm getting a nice group of teachers together, and we will have a new timetable, but don't worry all your favourite classes will stay plus we will have some more exciting sessions added.

Once the studio opens all of my classes, will run at Yoga House and current locations won't be in operation any more. I really cannot wait to welcome you all there and I hope you will love it as much as I do already!!  #

Yoga and Vegan festival is happening this month, on Saturday 24th February in Greenwich! The event will be open from 9.15 until 17.00.

I'll be there all day spreading the word about the studio plus teaching two yoga sessions. Find me at 11am for a dynamic vinyasa in Rishikesh room or at 4pm for a slower practice with yoga nidra in Varanasi room.

You can expect a range of stalls selling vegan food and products, lots of yoga classes (including kids yoga), mediation sessions and interesting talks. Tickets are still available and they are only £5 and free for kids under 14!!

Follow the link below to book yours and see you there.

Family/Kids Yoga (5-10yr olds) will be happening a little later this month - Sunday 25th February. A fun 45min sessions for little Yogis and their parents 2pm at Yoga House.

We learn gentle yoga poses through stories, talk about breath and simple meditation techniques. No experience necessary.

Early March I will be leaving you again to attend another training with The Yoga People. This time it's all about the amazing practice of Yin yoga and Ayurveda, in beautiful Goa. I'm very excited about this training and can't wait to bring the new knowledge into action.

Ayurveda is an ancient holistic (whole body) healing system. It was established around 3,000 years ago in India. It's based on a belief that health and wellness depend on a balance of mind, body and spirit. Its goal is to promote good heal and happiness. Through diet, yoga, meditation, understanding your doshas (energies) and keeping them balanced.

Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga, with postures being held for longer periods of time.  It helps to improve flexibility. Yin stretches and targets connective tissues between the muscles and fascia in the whole body. It helps to increase circulation in the joints and is a wonderful way to practise stillness of the mind. Yin also helps to regulate the flow of energy in our body.

It's going to be amazing!
