Our Catford studio now offers the deeply therapeutic benefits of infrared heat in a calm, nurturing space that supports your movement, wellness and recovery journey.
Whether you’ve just finished a strong vinyasa flow, Pilates session, fitness class – or you simply need a moment to pause – our infrared sauna is here to support deep relaxation, muscle ease, and a full-body exhale.
The gentle warmth of infrared heat works by penetrating the skin to raise your core temperature – without the harsh heat of a traditional sauna.
Enhanced Healing with Red Light Therapy
As an added bonus, our sauna features the Clearlight® Light Therapy Tower, delivering red and near-infrared wavelengths that support cellular regeneration, reduce inflammation, and promote skin health, sleep, and immune function. It’s a powerful extra layer of healing that works alongside the warmth of the sauna.
Infrared saunas operate at a lower temperature than traditional steam rooms (usually around 43°–54°C), which many find more comfortable and grounding. You’ll still work up a sweat – but in a slower, more sustainable way that supports nervous system regulation and gentle detox.
Start with 10–15 minutes if you’re new, and gradually build up your time. Always stay hydrated, and listen to your body. Step out early if you feel light-headed or overheated.
If you’re pregnant, have cardiovascular issues, or other medical concerns, it’s best to check with your GP before booking. Our front of house team can also offer guidance on how to use the sauna safely and comfortably.
You can book your session in one of the following ways:
Infrared sauna sessions are available to Yoga House students and if you’re booking for two, the other person goes half price.
While using the sauna, please observe the following information for your safety & comfort:
This is a dry electrical sauna; therefore, you must not enter the sauna directly from the shower whilst you are wet at all. There are serious risks of electric shock & water causes damage to the wood inside.
Please do not apply oils, creams, ointments or any masks to your skin. Ideally, your skin should be clean & free from products that affect your ability to sweat.
For hygiene, towels to sit on are compulsory, bring your own or hire one from reception for £2.
Please wear a swimsuit for your session.
If you have a chronic illness or medical condition please consult your doctor before using the sauna.
