Infrared Sauna Now at Yoga House Catford

Our Catford studio now offers the deeply therapeutic benefits of infrared heat in a calm, nurturing space that supports your movement, wellness and recovery journey.

Whether you’ve just finished a strong vinyasa flow, Pilates session, fitness class – or you simply need a moment to pause – our infrared sauna is here to support deep relaxation, muscle ease, and a full-body exhale.

Why use an infrared sauna?

The gentle warmth of infrared heat works by penetrating the skin to raise your core temperature – without the harsh heat of a traditional sauna.

Enhanced Healing with Red Light Therapy
As an added bonus, our sauna features the Clearlight® Light Therapy Tower, delivering red and near-infrared wavelengths that support cellular regeneration, reduce inflammation, and promote skin health, sleep, and immune function. It’s a powerful extra layer of healing that works alongside the warmth of the sauna.

What to Expect from your sesssion
+

Infrared saunas operate at a lower temperature than traditional steam rooms (usually around 43°–54°C), which many find more comfortable and grounding. You’ll still work up a sweat – but in a slower, more sustainable way that supports nervous system regulation and gentle detox.

Start with 10–15 minutes if you’re new, and gradually build up your time. Always stay hydrated, and listen to your body. Step out early if you feel light-headed or overheated.

Who shouldn't use Infrared heat?
+

If you’re pregnant, have cardiovascular issues, or other medical concerns, it’s best to check with your GP before booking. Our front of house team can also offer guidance on how to use the sauna safely and comfortably.
